Robert Nazario lives in rural Iowa Falls with his wife. He has two grown children and four granddaughters. He has been an Iowa resident for the last twenty-eight years.
Robert worked for thirty-six years as a Merchant Marine and in late 2021, he retired after serving the last twenty-four years as a Merchant Marine Officer. He received numerous safety awards and was instrumental in designing navigational programs used fleet-wide.
Robert's job as a Merchant Marine required a lot of time away from home but while home, Robert enjoys being outside, hunting, kayaking, playing with his two dogs, and visiting family.
He is a delegate for the Hardin County Republican Central Community. He has volunteered for many community and school enrichment projects over the years.
Robert is very excited and hopeful for what the future brings in politics for Iowa & beyond. He is running for the Iowa State House of Representatives, District 54, which includes Hardin, Grundy, and West Blackhawk County.
